Summer Camp 2013

One of the highlights of the year for the kids is the Stupinikids and this year as normal we had a great team from Kings Church Horsham. Within the Horsham team very were many familiar faces of people who have been coming out for several year now and also some people who had never been to Romania before.

The Theme for this years camp was looking at the characteristics of God such as God the Father, God is Love, God Heals, God the Comforter. Various members of the team would conduct a morning talk and an evening talk. Each talk would start of with games, a time of worship and then the talk or the drama.

During the day the team ran various workshops from crafts, face painting and obstacle courses.

On the last day of the camp we ran the much loved Olympics where the teams of kids would compete against each other on different obstacles. After the Olympics the kids were let loose on the famous death slide and the evening was finished off by the traditional camp fire and songs around the fire.

After the camp the Horsham team then went to the Stupini area of Brasov and had a BBQ with the kids and again ran some workshops.

The camp this year was as always fantastic with some many kids lives touched. Also special thanks to the Horsham team who made great sacrifices coming out and worked so hard in the months leading up to the camp preparing their work shops and games.
