Summary

We are seeking an Ad Operations Manager to work directly with Team Liquid and our third party partners. The position will be responsible for inputting and monitoring creative content, managing and troubleshooting campaigns, trafficking and monitoring ad delivery, generating reports, forecasting available inventory, communicating with advertisers, and managing remnant inventory. We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Santa Monica, CA office (25th and Broadway).

Job Description

Type: Contractor
Contract: Indefinite - Can be renewed based on performance
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages ad testing, trafficking and optimization of ad inventory to ensure optimal revenue yield
  • Prepares both internal and external delivery reports on both monthly and as-needed bases
  • Schedules and tests new ad formats while troubleshooting ad delivery, report discrepancies and technical issues
  • Handles day-to-day management of the ad server (DFP), programmatic platforms and management tools
  • Forecasts future inventory impression volume across multiple teams and divisions to create integrated ad solutions
  • Interfaces with clients to ensure maximized goal fulfillment, revenue and advertiser performance
  • Provides support for creative management tools and enforces brand safety measures for campaigns
  • Coordinates proprietary ad trafficking technology, implementation and maintenance between internal teams
  • Implements uniform trafficking practices and searches for ways to convert complex activities into scalable processes


Job Requirements

The applicant must possess:
  • A keen mind accustomed to problem solving, analyzing results, and organizing high-volume cross-functional dependencies to meet deadlines
  • A strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript and Flash for use in digital advertising, ad servers and creative tags
  • Experience with rich media technologies, real-time bidding, ad exchanges, and 3rd party ad servers such as DART/DFA, Atlas, Forensiq, Mediamind, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Education and Relevant Job Experience

BA or BS degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of ad trafficking experience
