December 09 2017
We are pleased to announce that Kang “Dodo” Jun-hyeuk has joined Team Liquid as assistant coach for our 2018 roster. In his debut, Dodo joins the team in their voyage to Korea for a preseason bootcamp.
“Hello everyone, my name is Jun Kang, also known as Dodo, and I will be the assistant coach for Team Liquid in 2018. I am really excited to join the Team Liquid family and the amazing roster that Team Liquid has built in the off-season, and I am looking forward to the new season in 2018. With my past experiences as a player in Team 8 and manager in Immortals, I am confident that I can be the bridge that connects the players, coaching staff, and management to create the best structure that everyone can enjoy and thrive in.”
- Kang “Dodo” Jun-hyeuk
“Dodo has a wealth of experience in esports as a player and on the support staff side. I believe adding him to our current coaching staff will be a great complement of skill sets that will gel appropriately with our team."
- Steve Arhancet, co-owner and CEO
“I'm extremely excited to be working with Dodo. I’ve known him since he used to play support on Team8 and I’ve always thought highly of him. As someone with an impressive tenure, he brings a lot of organization and authority to the team. I will be working very closely with him to ensure that our team has the right tools for success. He pays extreme attention to detail, is a hard worker, and has a lot of experience in player management. He's a valuable asset and I'm excited to have him on board Team Liquid for the 2018 season.”
- Michael Artress, Liquid'LoL Manager
Beneath our roster swaps and bombshell signings lies a dedication to an efficient work environment and a foundation of success. At the core of this foundation is a world class support staff with the ability to facilitate the diverse needs of our players. As a Korean native, former professional support, veteran MOBA competitor, and most recently player manager, Dodo is a complete package a perfect fit for our 2018 roster.
Dodo holds a crucial role in the coming weeks as our team familiarizes themselves with their new environment and working conditions. His fluency in Korean and experience with several members of our roster offer an edge during this process and the continued development of synergy and communication amongst our players. We’re excited for Dodo’s active role in our League of Legends support staff and look forward the experience he brings to our organization.

Regardless, April brings with it plenty of opportunities for a turnaround. Catch up with the latest in Liquid with the Liquid Review.
