Liquid Holiday Wishlists: SSBM

Twas the night before grand finals, and all through the house, not a player was stirring, not even a Razer DeathAdder Elite Gaming Mouse. With the nerves of competition, the teams all wrote down: a list of their wishes, their thoughts holiday bound. We’ve collected them here and added some fluff, with hopes they’ve been nice enough for some cool stuff.

Dear Santa,
I’ve been a very good Marth main this year and am excited to receive your gifts. More than anything, I would love Melee HD for the Nintendo Switch— WITH Netplay built in, of course. As far as normal Melee, it would be great if you could bring some balance changes to freshen it up, maybe even more characters! Lastly, I just hope that my family and Team Liquid will have good health and a very merry holiday season.

I would like an EVO win, UCF to be removed, buffs for Pichu and Game and Watch, and please Santa, give me more tournament wins!

My holiday wish is a legitimate national circuit with a super hype finals event. I think Melee has huge potential for this. Hook it up with Melee HD, Santa, and I'll even let you be part of the crew. You could also remove wobbling (LOL jk Chu). I would also add more tournament viable stages for sure; there aren't nearly enough!

The Liquid Review - April 2023
It's been an interesting start to the year for many of the Liquid teams, to say the least. Upsets and disappointments abound despite star-studded rosters across League of Legends, VALORANT, and CS:GO — although stalwart high performers like Team Liquid Brazil and rapha continue to establish themselves as powerhouses in their respective esports.
